Pico De Gallo (Fermented & Heavy Metal Detox)
This salad contains fermented, green nopales (cactus) and a lot of cilantro to help with Heavy Metal Detox*.

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cups onions finely chopped
  • 2 cups tomatoes chopped
  • 1/2 container nopales (cactus) rinsed and chopped
  • 1 to 2 bunches cilantro finely chopped (2 small bunches or one larger bunch)
  • 1/2 cucumber chopped
  • 4 small avacados chopped
  • 1/2 jalepeno finely chopped, optional
  • 2 1/2 Lime or Lemon squeezed for juice (depends on the lime/lemon)
  • Salt to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl. Eat as a side or with chips. Refrigerate for an hour for flavors to marinate or serve immediately.

The onset of the holidays can be a particularly stressful time of the year for those with an illness or disability. The amount of energy needed for all the tasks involved keeps increasing every year, while our own strength keeps diminishing.  However, there are ways to make the holidays easier and stress-free.   Focus on God    When I focus my life on Jesus and obeying Him, things take their proper place. Peace is restored and life becomes easier again ( Matthew 11:28-30 ). During the holidays, take the focus off the food, gifts, entertaining and decorating and put it back on Jesus.
